The US has always had an abundance of natural resources. Unfortunately, population growth and economic prosperity have put sufficient stress on all of those resources that there are growing problems in this domain, centered around whether we’ll be able to continue to extract the sheer amount of stuff that we need, and how well we can distribute resources to where they’re needed.
